Gibfocus Poll supports No Smoking in Public Places Campaign |

A gibfocus poll has voted with a heavy majority supporting a campaign to ban smoking in public places.
The online poll which asked ?Do you support a campaign for a ban on smoking in public places?? received a total of 864 votes. A massive 602 (70 per cent) voted to support the campaign, opposed to a total of 259 (30 per cent) against a possible ban.
The result of the poll supports movements by campaign group No Smoking In Public Places fronted by Bryan Zammit.
Government earlier in the year hinted at the possibility of the move to make Gibraltar smoke-free, with the newly opened Government-project Kings Bastion Leisure Centre made a complete No Smoking Zone.
