A new collection of inspiring and imaginative photographic images will be on public display from Tuesday 12th to Friday 15th May 2009 at the Casemates Vaults exhibition rooms from 9am to 5pm. The exhibits have been created by patients who participated in a Photographic Group run by the Gibraltar Mental Health Services Activity Centre. The group was started two years ago by staff members Johnny Gonzales, Eric Sanchez, Daphne Alecio and Marie Debono whose commitment to developing the photographic skills of the group is evident from the enthusiasm and enjoyment shown by the group members, as well as the quality of the resulting images.

The event offers the general public an opportunity to view the exhibition, meet some of the photographers, and appreciate the remarkable improvement in the quality of the images since the group first exhibited their work in 2007.

An opening reception, attended by the Minister for Health, Yvette Del Agua, will be held at midday on Monday 11th May.
